Leslie McHattie, Senior Reliability Practitioner at Ivara, has seen it all --some programs are highly successful, most are "satisfactory" and some fail. Trying something new without a plan to manage and sustain the improvement is what we call a silver bullet approach and tends to be very short lived, eventually becoming the flavor of the month.
