Web Workshop: Using Acoustic Emission Enveloping to Detect Lubrication Defects
Presented by Robert Collyer, Principal Engineer, SKF
SKF Acoustic Emission Enveloping should be used along with the measurement of other data as part of a multi parameter approach to provide a holistic assessment of a bearing or a machine's health. Acoustic emission enveloping technology can detect lubrication defects and improve machinery monitoring, providing a valuable indication of unhealthy or damaging running conditions that can be corrected or improved. Traditional vibration in most cases indicates that damage has already occurred.
Learning Point Takeaways:
1) Learn what AEE is, and how it is part of a multi parameter approach to maintenance
2) Discover tips on how to correctly measure Acoustic Emission
3) Learn how to apply AEE to detect lubrication defects and what the benefits are
