A newly created role, the Business Development Manager of Asset Management & Reliability, is for a true hunter and influencer who has a proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets within the Industrial Engineering, Enterprise Software or Technology industries.
Working closely with the VP International Operations, the successful applicant will identify prospects and key industry stakeholders, remain abreast of changes in the market place and pursue all viable leads and opportunities. Maintaining relationships with current clients and proactively identifying further solutions to increase wallet share is also an important requirement of this role.
Other key responsibilities include the development, execution and overall responsibility for the sales strategy and reporting, management of the sales cycle, which includes our entire Reliability Engineering portfolio of products, presenting to potential buyers and decision makers the value to their business of reliable asset performance.
You are a results driven individual who is goal orientated and has a track record of success in converting opportunities into actual sales. Able to present to clients with certainty and confidence, you effectively build relationships to understand clients’ needs to become a trusted advisor.
You possess at least 7 years’ experience in a sales role where you have been selling either Reliability or Asset Management, Industrial Engineering or Enterprise Software Applications. Experience in managing the entire sales cycle particularly in closing complex sales, you also have a demonstrated record of success in over-achieving sales targets.
Competent computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and advanced working knowledge of CRM systems such as Salesforce is also essential.
The future opportunities for this role could potentially lead to long term career success such as establishing ARMS in another geographic region or new market.
With plans for the VP International Operations Manager to relocate back to Australia within the next few years, we also require a successor to step up into his shoes and continue developing the ARMS brand and people.
