The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance of production equipment and operating facilities to ensure down time is minimized and quality and productivity standards are met. The Maintenance Technician performs scheduled and unscheduled tasks on electromechanical equipment to repair, adjust, maintain, improve and fabricate according to needs and in compliance with all applicable best practices, maintenance policies and building codes. The physical demands of this position requires reaching, carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling weight up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis.
To become a vital member of our team, a minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in a heavy mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment is required. Advanced knowledge of the principles of mechanics, electro-mechanical processes, automated processing systems, fundamental electronics and basic digital electronics, AC/DC and servo motors and drives, TPM or other continuous improvement processes are also required. In addition, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and basic computer proficiency are essential to success.
Currently available shifts include: Second shift 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and third shift 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Candidates must also be flexible to work overtime and weekends as scheduled.
