Job: RCM Facilitator/Consultant - Roanoke, VA

Consult with clients on integrating Reliability Centered Maintenance results and APM systems, and track the effectiveness of the RCM recommendations over time. This will include installation, setup and training on Meridium’s APM RCM and RCMO solutions. You will consult with Meridium clients on implementing RCM initiatives and using industry-proven methodologies to develop effective vision and maintenance strategies.

Required Skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in setting the vision and direction and strategies for the RCM program.
  • Satisfy a customer’s maintenance planning requirements by applying practical knowledge of how to implement Maintenance Plans, Maintenance Items, and Task Lists.
  • Provide RCM facilitation

Required Experience

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years experience of facilitating RCM and Generic FMEA content from client Subject Matter Experts.  Experience preferably with clients based out of the US and/or the European Union countries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • Trained by a known organization or demonstrate strong understanding of the concepts and philosophy of RCM as defined in a recognized RCM/FMEA approach
  • Have good ability to clearly explain the concepts to novice or experienced technical staff in the interpretation of plant behavior and processes
  • Have experience with of one or more production processes in the refining, petrochemical, metals industries and is confident to venture into other processes which he has not necessarily have direct experience of.
  • Have a logical and concise way of guiding facilitation
  • Experience with developing and performing training on software systems.
  • Good abilities to report analysis schedules, progress and issues to manager/supervisor
  • Preferably have experience working on database system such as SQL Server and/or Oracle.
  • Well-versed in work processes and change management
  • Practical knowledge of how to structure equipment and functional location entities to optimize maintenance planning and reliability analysis will also be useful.
  • Demonstrable project management skills
  • Ability to write requirements/specifications
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 65%
  • Project Management experience is a plus
