Job: Reliability Engineer - Williams

The Reliability Engineer will provide subject matter expertise supporting safety, compliance, reliability, and efficiency goals of the company. This will require working with and across the enterprise identifying, developing, implementing, and analyzing maintenance &  reliability metrics, processes, procedures, and standards for the purpose of ensuring improved reliability, optimal equipment performance and continued environmental compliance.

This position reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance Process

Key activities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Support the centrally managed maintenance programs ensuring maintenance activities for equipment across the organization are both appropriate as well as performed at the optimal interval
  • Perform quality checks on proposed maintenance procedures to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards and specifications
  • Perform/facilitate equipment criticality assessments/risk rankings for
  • Perform/facilitate critical spares analyses
  • Perform/facilitate Root Cause Failure Analyses
  • Perform PM optimizations & maintenance strategy improvements through use of RCM tools & software packages
  • Collaborate with Site Reliability Teams across the organization
  • Review 3rd party contractor proposals for maintenance & reliability improvement efforts and submit evaluation/recommendations to leaderships for consideration
  • Manage/consult with 3rd party contractors on the execution of maintenance & reliability data deliverables
  • Review and evaluate reliability metrics for trends, deviations, or indications that improvement actions are required and initiate response and changes that positively affect negative trends.
  • Effectively interface with leaders and the maintenance process teams to cause reliability improvements
  • The successful candidate should be versed or had exposure to the following: RCM, RCFA, FMEA, MTBF, RAM analysis, Reliability Block Diagramming, performing basic reliability calculations (Reliability, Availability, MTBF, Failure Rate, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 4 year Engineering Degree
  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) - preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Reliability Engineer / Specialist role

Travel Requirements:

  • 25-50%
