This Consulting role is a multi-faceted position that requires flexibility, diverse skills and abilities. It requires both Reliability Engineering subject matter expertise as well as project manager expertise with mentoring and leadership qualities. Responsibilities will include managing significant customer projects, delivering reliability services, leading training, advising customers on work process and system configuration options. Technical and functional aptitude is required in the field of asset management and/or in reliability methodologies such as RCA/RCM/FMEA/RBI/SIS. The role reports to Project Director.
Required Skills
Responsibilities:
- Provision of reliability consulting in the areas of RCM/FMEA, RBI, reliability analysis and improvement identification.
- Analysis of client data sources, existing systems and identification of process improvements that can be delivered via an integrated I.T. approach.
- Ability to translate technical/functional concepts into processes and configuration.
- Management of customer delivery of software and services.
- Work hands on with customer reliability leads to train, facilitate and lead reliability workshops and training sessions.
- Manage internal/external communications and logistics.
- Resource management, including forecasting, directing and reporting.
- Responsible for project budgets and schedule, project status reporting, including identification of project issues and driving their resolution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including internal, third party and partners.
- Lead client presentations, support sales calls and execution of pilot projects.
- Delivery of functional software user training as well and reliability engineering methodology awareness training.
Required Experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (any discipline).
- 5-10 years of practical experience in APM skills such as FMEA, RCM, RBI, SIS, RCA, etc in the Oil and Gas, Mining or high capital intensive industry.
- Experience with RAM modeling.
- Customer facing multiple project management experience is a must.
- Proven track record in successful project execution for Reliability improvement initiatives or large
- CMMS implementations such as SAP PM, Maximo, Indus or other enterprise systems is highly advantageous.
- Experience managing projects for high-profile, demanding customers.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Cross functional roles between PM, technical and functional.
- PMP certification (or equivalent) is a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Desire to travel up to 65%
