Sealant for Bolts that Penetrate into Water or Chemical Jackets
New Loctite Head Bolt & Water Jacket Sealant Lubricates, Locks, Seals and Eliminates Corrosion
Henkel Corporation has introduced Loctite Head Bolt & Water Jacket Sealant, a product specially designed for use on threaded fasteners such as head bolts that penetrate into water or chemical jackets. This unique product lubricates threads, ensuring consistent torque values during assembly; seals and locks bolts to prevent premature loosening; and acts as an anti-seize agent, eliminating corrosion and facilitating removal.
Loctite(R) Head Bolt & Water Jacket Sealant performs well on bolts with 1/2-to-3/4-inch diameters and long engagement areas. Such threaded fasteners are commonly found on engines, pumps, water treatment systems, boilers, intake manifolds, thermostats and other industrial equipment. This black anaerobic paste resists temperatures of -65 degrees F to 300 degrees F and handles pressures to 10,000 psi. The sealant is available in a 50 ml tube for hand application.
