About the role:
As a Reliability Engineer within the Engineering Group, you will be responsible for developing new and updated maintenance strategies using RCM modelling techniques. The application of risk based criticality assessments, FMECA, strategy selection and reliability simulation are vital parts of the strategy development process. The role is a critical element of the business improvement strategy in place to fundamentally transform the way that maintenance is formulated for the RNZN. Developing and communicating these new maintenance strategies is a key requirement to complete the process. You will also review and update the strategy development processes and will be an integral part of the Engineering team providing support and input into the other elements of our team efforts.
Ideally you will have tertiary qualification in engineering with exposure to and experience using RCM modelling techniques in a previous role. A solid understanding of CBM techniques will be important. An experienced engineer you will have excellent oral and written communication skills and solid facilitation skills.
