This presentation speaks about choosing the correct techniques, methods, instrumentation and training for a successful Asset Condition Monitoring program. Too many times we see companies purchase either instrumentation that is “too limited” for their actual needs or actually more frequently “too complicated” for their actual needs. Once an investment has been made down the wrong path, it is difficult to get funding to change direction and head down the correct path. We will cover “front line” technology with explanation and description of basic Shock Pulse & Overall Vibration.
