Reliability Leadership is becoming an essential business requirement in today’s volatile, uncertain and complex environment.
Safety performance and reliability performance are linked. In order to meet customers’ needs on time at competitive prices, an organization’s equipment and assets have to o-operate reliably and effectively.
Reliability is not just the responsibility of the maintenance department; it is the responsibility of everyone in the organization.
The Reliability Journey expressed in the Uptime
Elements Reliability Leadership Course is designed to empower you and your team on a self-led journey that will unlock extraordinary value for your organization.
Reliability Leadership involves managing value delivery and the functional assurance of assets while minimizing the effects of risk and failure. It is an enterprise-wide understanding and approach that enables an organization to consider the potential impact of all types of failures, including process, information, equipment, and human failures.
The Uptime Elements Reliability Leadership System is implemented at over six thousand locations and is supported by over four thousand Certified Reliability Leaders globally.
Uptime Elements Reliability Leadership System draws from a body of knowledge that is based on the Uptime Elements Body of Knowledge [BoK], the same body of knowledge used by the Association of Asset Management Professionals that forms the basis for the Certified Reliability Leader professional exam.
Simply put, Uptime Elements is a map for understanding the interrelated nature of reliability elements.
The course is designed to new reliability leaders who will discover novel meaning to their work and interactions with the people they work with. Reliability leadership provides a basis for their decisions and will eventually drive transformation of the organization.
Moreover, if full participation is achieved, the course produces immediate and sustainable results for your organization, including an engaged and empowered workforce aligned to the Aim of the organization; plus:
- Improved financial results;
- Safety and environmental incident reduction;
- Sustainability and energy savings;
- Improved workforce recruitment and retention;
- Reputation and brand enhancement.
* Requires Uptime Elements Passport Series and LMS access confirmed 90 days in advance.
- Option 1: Physical Uptime Elements Passport Series is $149 (Per AMP requirements, the physical BoK can be used for open book exam)
- Option 2: Physical Uptime Elements Body of Knowledge is $249 (Per AMP requirements, the physical BoK can be used for open book exam)

The complete CRL Body of Knowledge book set is required material for the workshop (must be purchased separately). This set of books, along with all notes written on the actual pages of the books, is allowed to be referenced during the exam. In fact, they are the only thing allowed to be referenced. You will want to devote some time each day to reading a few sections of the books.
Certification
The Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP) has developed an exam designed to create leaders who focus on delivering value to the triple bottom line of: Economic Prosperity, Environmental Sustainability, and Social Responsibility.
The Certified Reliability Leader certification exam was created to validate the competencies of a professional in an organization who mastered the language, words, phrases, ideas, concepts and foundational knowledge required to engage and empower all stakeholders in an organization as a reliability leader. It also validates those who exercise reliability leadership as natural self-expression.
The fee for the Certified Reliability Leader exam is $299 USD, payable to AMP. The certification exam is a 2-hour timed, virtually proctored exam with 125 multiple choice questions. *Exam requires a separate registration.
NOTE: The CRL exam will be offered at IMC.
The Exam is also offered ONLINE. Various dates are available.
