Position Summary/Purpose

We are looking for motivated and professional Sales Development Specialist to join our APAC Business Unit. Based in Singapore and reporting to the Sales Development Manager, you will work as a senior and experienced team member to identify, research and approach customers in target industries. We provide Engineering Software Products, Services and Solutions to the major oil, gas, manufacturing, and energy companies in the region and our sales development team strives to develop new sectors.

Utilising your expert skills in outbound sales, your goal is to identify, research, contact and qualify prospects across the region (i.e. Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea etc) with the primary goal of booking a meeting for our Field Sales Team.

Responsibilities/Main Activities

  • Outbound lead generation to fuel Hexagon PPM Pipeline and Growth.
  • Collaborate with and leverage teammates to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to research & develop accounts, identify key players, generate interest, and identify compelling events.
  • Predominately outbound prospecting (with limited inbound) to companies via cold calling, email, marketing campaigns, social selling.
  • High-level discovery and educational conversations using BANT Methodology
  • Book meetings for Field Sales and prepare for handover
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities

Qualifications and Experience Required

This position is a unique opportunity for an experienced Lead Generation and Sales Development Representative (SDR) from the computer software sector (i.e. SaaS, Subscription Sales, Perpetual Sales), with exceptional new business prospecting and outbound sales skills.
