ALS Tribology is pleased to announce the recent acquisition of OILCHECK in Belo Horizonte, Brasil. Oilcheck is a leading in-service lubricant testing business serving approximately 35% of the Brasil market. The business has partnerships with several large equipment manufacturers and provides testing services to end-users in a variety of markets including agriculture, mining, construction, energy, forestry, and marine.

ALS Tribology has been operating in Brasil since the acquisition of São Paulo-based Tribolab in 2015. The added location and strong market presence in fleet programs strengthens our market presence in the region.

OILCHECK employs approximately 50 people working from the main operation in Belo Horizonte and a recently established commercial office in Ribeirão Preto, the Brasilian capital of agribusiness. The team is led by Carlos Henrique, Operations Manager and Luis Milani, Business Development Manager. Carlos and Luis have extensive experience in the sector.
