The development is primarily based on a series of production wells tied-back to a converted, turret (external) moored FPSO. Oil will be exported by direct offloading to trading tankers. Gas will be initially re-injected into the reservoirs and later exported via a gas export pipeline to the new Angola LNG terminal when access is available.
The modularized production facilities for the FPSO are anticipated to process 210,000 bfpd, produce 150,000 bopd, reinject/lift 250 mmscf/d and inject 300,000 bwpd. The FPSO is being converted by MODEC in Singapore for delivery in early 2011.
Assetivity is pleased to be part of the professional consulting team that is working with MODEC- EPC to take this super tanker and create a production facility that is designed to operate off the Angola coast for the next twenty years. Assetivity and XPD8 Solutions have been contracted to develop the Maintenance and Integrity Program for implantation into Maximo 5.2 ensuring a high quality maintenance, inspection and spare part program for the life of this FPSO.
