Certified Reliability Leader Workshops at the 36th International Maintenance Conference (IMC) 2022
The development of Reliability Leadership is one of the aspects that tip the scales when it comes to asset management. In addition to all the skills and knowledge that a reliability expert must have, mastering leadership competencies is critical to the success of asset management projects in any organization. Leadership drives change in organizations in a deep and lasting way, drives companies towards success and unites workers around a common ideal of excellence and accountability, while aligning all strategies with the core objectives of the organization. A Reliability Leader is a professional trained to take your company to the next level.
As part of the International Maintenance Conference to be held in Marco Island, Florida, on December 5-8, 2022, the Certified Reliability Leader® (CRL) Workshop will be take place. The workshop is designed to train participants in the Uptime® Elements™ Framework, so they can begin to master the language, ideas and concepts and improve the knowledge necessary to do well on the Certified Reliability Leader exam.
On the other hand, the workshop allows students to discover for themselves what it is to "BE" a Reliability Leader and to exercise reliability leadership as a natural expression of themselves. The activity will take place over 4 days, and includes lectures, audio and video case studies from industry "thought leaders" and winners of Uptime Magazine's Best Maintenance Reliability Program award.
The CRL Workshop focuses on asset reliability decisions throughout the asset lifecycle, delivering value through leadership. It provides guidance to engage and empower every stakeholder in your organization as a Reliability Leader.
Kate Kerrigan is the expert in charge of delivering the CRL Workshop over the four days. Kate is an experienced business manager and reliability engineer. She holds a B.S. in Engineering and Applied Science from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and currently teaches in their Industrial Engineering Department. She is certified in Theory of Constraints (ToC) and Lean; is a specialist in Reliability and Asset Management, and has deep experience in the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Manufacturing. Through her teaching, coaching and mentoring, Kate has led several industry-leading organizations to improve their bottom line and increase the reliability of their systems. In her brilliant career, she has held the positions of Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, Reliability Leader, and Operations Analyst.
Uptime® Elements Academy's online learning management system (LMS) drives and supports reliability through CMM and CRL, helping professionals and organizations achieve world-class performance.
Through the learning communities created by Reliabilityweb.com, operational excellence, workshops, and the research and evolution of asset management as a science are promoted. As Terrence O'Hanlon, CEO & Publisher of Reliabilityweb.com and creator of the Uptime® Elements as a system, says: "There are things you know, things you know you don't know, and things you don't know you don't know". Bridging this gap between what you know and what you need to know is part of the mission of Reliabilityweb.com, the Workshops, IMC and the entire effort of the worldwide community of maintenance and reliability experts.
As part of the International Maintenance Conference and CRL Workshop registration, participants will receive free access to The Uptime Elements Academy online learning management system, available anytime, anywhere. After completing the LMS, you will have a solid foundation going into the workshop, as assessments are provided in this learning space after each element to check your understanding of the material. Your access will extend to the end of the workshop.
It is worth noting that the workshop breaks and lunches coincide with the conference, so participants can attend all of the evening's social events. Can you think of a better way to accumulate knowledge and share with the brightest minds in asset management, amidst a vibrant, harmonious environment full of interesting and stimulating activities? Come to IMC 2022 and discover all we have to offer!
