Commonly used classifications:
- Class A, B, C, D
- Critical, Major, Minor, Incidental
- Critical, Major, Minor
Definitions of these classifications require careful preparation and tailoring to the product(s) being sampled to enable accurate assignment of a defect to the proper classification.
