eMaint Introduces Interactive Image Mapping Feature

CMMS Solutions Company Releases Image Mapping Tool to Visually Represent and Streamline Access to Corporate Assets

June 23, 2016 (Marlton, NJ) – eMaint Enterprises, a leader in Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS), has further enhanced its innovative solution with the addition of the all-new Interactive Image Mapping feature.

The Interactive Image Mapping feature allows organizations to visualize their maintenance management data on a floor plan, schematic, site map, or any other image. Users can upload an image via eMaint’s document storage feature, and place pins on it that point to their asset, work order, work request or inventory record. When users hover over each pin, they will see a snapshot of the pinpointed item, and can click to directly access the full record, view work history and schedule work.

eMaint’s Interactive Image Mapping enriches the user experience, enabling organizations to access key data through a graphical interface. Rather than viewing lists of data, users can now see a graphical visualization of data placed throughout an image of a building or piece of equipment. The feature is available as part of eMaint’s latest product release and underscores eMaint’s commitment to innovation and expansion of the eMaint CMMS platform.

“eMaint’s new image mapping tool is the next revolutionary step in leveraging technology to help make CMMS data more meaningful and accessible,” said eMaint’s CEO and Founder, Brian Samelson. “We are excited to introduce innovative tools to help our community of maintenance managers, facilities engineers and property managers better support their infrastructure.”

The intuitive new feature will reinvigorate processes and empower organizations to save time, improve efficiency, and gain easier access to data. The versatility of image mapping will be applicable to eMaint’s diverse client base. Facilities and property managers can see where equipment is located through a visualization of their building’s floor plans, and maintenance managers in a manufacturing environment can access records of a production line’s subcomponents right from an image of the equipment.
