GE Measurement & Control Announces New Models of the Mentor Visual iQ™ VideoProbe™

GE’s Measurement and Control business introduced today three new models of its Mentor Visual iQTM VideoProbeTM with unique feature sets designed for a variety of different industries and applications. This ensures customers have access the right tools for any inspection job.

The three new models of the Mentor Visual iQ family are:

  • Mentor Visual iQ Inspect features best-in-class image quality and connectivity. It is equipped with a hard button/joystick interface, QuickChange battery pack, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and includes the option to choose from seven probe length and diameter configurations. It is extremely durable and rugged, making it ideal for use in field conditions. Mentor Visual iQ Inspect can also be upgraded to accommodate Touch or Analyze configurations.  With excellent image quality, Mentor Visual iQ Inspect is ideally suited for pipeline and tank inspection, automotive quality control and general purpose inspection jobs.
  • Mentor Visual iQ Touch offers the versatility of a touch screen with the convenience of QuickChangeTM probes, as well as all of the features on the Mentor Visual iQ Inspect. With the Mentor Visual iQ Touch, users can select from enhanced performance options and will have access to Menu Directed Inspection image management and reporting. Mentor Visual iQ Touch also comes standard with a 16GB memory and can be upgraded to the Analyze configuration. Offering productivity enhancing features, Mentor Visual iQ Touch is ideal for inspection of motors, compressors, gearboxes, heat exchangers, boiler tubes or welds.
  • Mentor Visual iQ Analyze sets the industry standard for inspections with On Demand 3D measurement and analysis software combined with extreme image quality and greater probability of detection. When precision matters, the experts rely on the full featured Mentor Visual iQ Analyze for critical inspections such as aircraft engine inspection, gas turbine inspection, product engineering and development. Professional inspectors value the Mentor Visual iQ Analyze for the versatility and performance it brings to any inspection job.
