Increase Available Storage Space in Your Storeroom

To increase available storage space in your storeroom, try the following:

  1. In cabinet drawers - move everything to the left of the drawer without changing the row. This will create additional space to the right of the drawer with minimum change in bin locations.
  2. Open racks - Reduce the space between shelves. Typically you can add 20 - 30% more shelf space per rack.

Count the number of racks and cabinets in the storeroom to project the additional storage space you will have.
