Kimo Oberloh Joins LCE as a Lean Manufacturing Community of Practice Leader
Kimo began his manufacturing career at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY., where he specialized in production control and material and information flow. He later participated in the start-up of Mercedes Benz’s first manufacturing facility in the United States, worked with The Boeing Company to establish the foundation for their production system, and worked as the Production Control and Logistics Manager for Delphi.
Kimo specializes in helping clients improve their production systems through the application of critical lean concepts and associated tools. Kimo is a natural and effective facilitator who enjoys the individual and group interaction that that he encourages in teaching and coaching. He is a Prosci Certified Change Management Professional who recognizes that change can be difficult and that it begins with the individual.
Kimo attended Cal Poly Pomona, and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Information Technology.
