“Planning the work and working the plan” is the mantra of all seasoned project managers. Planning requires a detailed approach with formal approval of the project before committing to and executing the plan. Monitoring and controlling the project to keep it on track is essential to project success.
In this three-day class taught by a Project Management Professional participants will learn a systematic approach to defining a project plan driven by project deliverables. A hierarchical approach is used to work through the definition of the deliverables, the work required to produce the deliverables, the skills and resources required, and the estimates for time and cost, leading to the project budget and schedule. Individuals will also learn effective leadership skills for managing project teams. Click here to review the course’s learning objectives.
The first course is scheduled to take place September 1-3 2009, at the Life Cycle Institute’s state-of-the-art training facilities in Charleston, SC. Class size is limited in order to maximize the value to each participant.
