MPulse Releases Fourth Generation CMMS Software

MPulse Maintenance Software (MPulse) announces the release of MPulse v7, its fourth generation of CMMS software. MPulse v7 is 100% browser based with no client application software to install and is built using Microsoft .Net as its foundation. Customers will have the option to deploy the software internally within their Intranet or via MPulse’s Application Hosting Service. In either case, users of MPulse products will now have the distinct advantages of accessing their application via their web browser.

“Web-native applications like v7, with advanced web server technology, user-friendly architecture, customizable interfaces and location independence offer superior performance in the gathering, measuring and reporting of data” states Randy Brous, MPulse’s Director of Development. “Superior performance means the software gets widely used and accepted within an organization and that results in actionable, reliable, real-time data that is key in maintaining assets at optimum levels, preventing down-time, saving money and conserving energy”.

When performance and maintenance incidents occur, MPulse v7 lets maintenance managers know in real time which assets and systems are being affected, the nature and severity of the problem, the impact to company operations, the likely cause and how to respond correctly. It does this by opening to an expanded, customizable, Maintenance Advisor where users can add charts, graphs, widgets, lists or websites to personalize the presentation of real time on-screen information, triggered alerts, reports and links. With customization options throughout the software, users have numerous opportunities to present data to meet their needs, expectations or personal specifications.

The products in this generational upgrade include MPulse Gold, WorkFlow R, WorkFlow W, WorkFlow M and MobileWorks. MPulse expects to start updating customers to v7 over the next couple months and existing MPulse customers with an active SMA Program will receive the update at no charge. MPulse users will appreciate the leading edge technology, upgrades, benefits, and numerous new features and add-ons available in v7. These include an enhanced scheduling option, customizable list views, full database search functions and a new PartLink feature that links parts consumed on work orders to their asset, just to name a few.
