Nexus Global Business Solutions Acquires OMCS International of Australia
Houston, TX, USA - Nexus Global Business Solutions, Inc., a global Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions provider, announced today that it has acquired the assets and business of Operations & Maintenance Consulting Services Pty. Ltd. (OMCS International) of Melbourne, Australia, a provider of software, training and consulting services with offerings focused on APM Reliability Solutions. With over nineteen years of experience serving asset intensive industries around the world, OMCS International has an established track record of delivering best-in-class software and reliability engineering support that helps its customers optimize the performance and reliability of their production assets.
Together with Nexus Global’s existing suite of APM solutions, the acquisition greatly expands the two companies’ global footprint in providing proven solutions with proven methodologies to drive lowest cost of asset operation and ownership.
“Asset intensive industries across the globe today are struggling to get the best performance out of their production assets, with reduced investments in maintenance programs and the shrinking base of skilled, knowledgeable manpower,” said Larry Olson, President and CEO of Nexus Global Business Solutions. “The acquisition of OMCS International positions us to offer a broader, cost-effective lean maintenance optimization solution with experienced, hands-on leaders in the asset performance management field.”
OMCS focuses its business on four key areas of asset performance management - Planning & Scheduling, Maintenance Strategy, Downtime and Asset Health, Data Management and Investigation Management - to optimize its customers’ inherent knowledge to break the cycle of reactive maintenance. The company is an Oracle® Silver Partner, and its PMO2000® maintenance optimization software is SAP® Certified. Custom interfaces have been implemented at customer locations who use IBM® Maximo®, SAP® and other asset management solutions.
“OMCS is very pleased to become part of the Nexus Global family,” said Steve Turner, Founder/Director of OMCS International. “Our two companies have a very complementary solutions portfolio and history of success serving and satisfying our customers’ Asset Performance Management requirements. Becoming part of the Nexus Global team will only solidify our ability to drive greater success for our company and our customers.”
OMCS will be fully integrated into Nexus Global’s business and the company plans to continue to develop a deeper and broader portfolio of Asset Performance Management solutions to help customers maximize the output, performance and reliability of their production assets.
