Nineteen Group Expands U.S. Presence and Manufacturing Portfolio with Acquisition of Reliabilityweb

Nineteen Group, the international events and media organization, today announced the acquisition of Reliabilityweb, a highly respected global community dedicated to reliability engineering, maintenance excellence, and asset performance.

The acquisition marks a key milestone in Nineteen Group’s expansion in the United States and strengthens its growing footprint across the manufacturing sector. Reliabilityweb’s deep industry credibility, practitioner-led frameworks, and engaged global community complement Nineteen’s expertise in building and scaling high-impact events and experiences.

“This partnership is an exciting opportunity to build on Nineteen’s existing brands and serves as a catalyst to expand on our leading manufacturing portfolio,” added Mary Larkin, President, Nineteen Group Americas. “Reliabilityweb brings unmatched credibility and community trust. Nineteen brings the infrastructure, event capability, and global footprint to help that community thrive at scale.”

Founded by Terrence O’Hanlon, Reliabilityweb is best known for convening the reliability and maintenance community through flagship events including the International Maintenance Conference, The Reliability Conference, and MaximoWorld, alongside professional training and certification programs such as Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) and Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM).

“After 27 years of building Reliabilityweb as a trusted home for the global reliability and asset management community, this moment is deeply personal for me. I feel genuinely grateful and incredibly fortunate to see the brand enter its next chapter,” said Terrence O’Hanlon, Founder of Reliabilityweb. “This partnership safeguards the endurance of something built on purpose, relationships, and trust. Maura Abad and I are honored to continue our work—still serving the community we love, now with renewed strength and an expanded future ahead.”

Reliabilityweb will continue to operate under its existing brands, maintaining continuity for members, partners, and customers. Nineteen Group plans to support the business through investment, international reach, and event expertise, creating new opportunities for engagement across North America, the UK, and beyond.

Reliabilityweb was represented by John McGovern of Grimes, McGovern & Associates. Nineteen Group was advised by Plural Strategy. The acquisition further supports Nineteen Group’s strategy to build a connected portfolio of industry-leading brands across manufacturing, technology, and industrial markets, backed by Phoenix Equity Partners.
