Outage Management Using Projects: Implementation and Lessons Learned

Power plants manage outages multiple times a year. We have been managing them using the project ID in Maximo. There have been some challenges to using the out of the box financial control application, and as a result, we have had to create a better way to manage outages in Maximo. We will review the challenges we faced with the out of the box solution and the reports, custom fields, and new applications we created to manage the outage projects more efficiently and effectively.
