You may be using the wrong breather if the filtered lubricants in your equipment continue to have high moisture content. One of the most critical ingression points of contaminants is located at the breather vent. Placing a quality desiccant breather on applications strips incoming moisture and particulate, providing enhanced protection. If high moisture content continues even with a desiccant breather and oil filtration, there may be leaks in the seals of your equipment.
