Reliabilityweb and Association of Asset Management Professionals Bring Certified Reliability Leader® Program to Smart Manufacturing Week 2026
March 17, 2026 — Reliabilityweb, recently acquired by Nineteen Group, today announced it will deliver the Certified Reliability Leader® (CRL®) course in partnership with the Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP) at Smart Manufacturing Week this June.
The Certified Reliability Leader® program is a globally recognized framework that advances reliability as a leadership discipline, not just a maintenance function. It focuses on culture, asset performance, and proactive risk reduction to drive sustained operational results.
The two-day CRL program will take place June 2–3, 2026, immediately preceding Smart Manufacturing Week, which runs June 3–4 at the NEC, Birmingham. Participants can complete the course and then engage with the four exhibitions, including the co-located Maintec, the UK’s only dedicated maintenance and reliability engineering exhibition.
The announcement follows Nineteen Group’s acquisition of Reliabilityweb, aligning one of the world’s leading reliability education platforms with the UK’s largest festival of advanced manufacturing and engineering. Smart Manufacturing Week, produced by The Manufacturer, attracts more than 13,000 manufacturing and engineering professionals annually.
“The Certified Reliability Leader® program is about equipping professionals to lead change, not just manage equipment,” said Terrence O’Hanlon, Founder of Reliabilityweb. “For many in the Smart Manufacturing Week audience, this will be their first exposure to CRL. It provides a practical, cross-functional framework that connects maintenance, operations, engineering, and leadership. When reliability becomes a shared responsibility across the organization, performance follows.”
AMP is a global nonprofit advancing asset management and reliability through certification, training, benchmarking, and professional networking. More than 4,000 professionals worldwide have completed the Certified Reliability Leader®, Certified Maintenance Manager®, and related programs. The CRL course delivered at Smart Manufacturing Week provides structured preparation for the certification exam administered by AMP.
“As Smart Manufacturing Week continues to grow, expanding the depth of value we deliver to our audience is critical,” said Grace Gilling, Managing Director, The Manufacturer, organizers of Smart Manufacturing Week. “Introducing the Certified Reliability Leader® program adds a new dimension to the week and reinforces our commitment to strengthening leadership capability across the manufacturing community.”

About Smart Manufacturing Week
Smart Manufacturing Week will welcome more than 13,500 visitors as it returns as the UK’s leading festival of industrial innovation. Bringing together four specialist exhibitions—Smart Factory Expo, Maintec, Drives & Controls, and Design & Engineering—the event will showcase the full spectrum of technologies and solutions transforming modern manufacturing.
Across seven content stages and 450 exhibitors, attendees will discover the latest advancements in automation, digitalisation, maintenance, robotics, sustainability, and engineering design.
This year, two dedicated learning platforms will offer deepdive knowledge for specific audience segments. The established Manufacturing Digitalisation Summit (MDS) will bring together senior digital leaders to explore strategic transformation and enterpriselevel innovation. Complementing this, the CRL program will join the event as a specialist learning stream designed to deliver targeted insight and skills development for its community.
Smart Manufacturing Week will also run alongside major colocated industry events delivered by other organisers — including TCT, Subcon, and Interplas — creating an unparalleled critical mass of manufacturing and engineering expertise all under one roof, at one time.
