TRANSCO receives ISO 55000 Accreditation Certificate in Asset Management
Jacobs Engineering Group, an Endorsed Assessor by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), awarded the certificate to H.E. Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors in TRANSCO, in the presence of H.E. Engineer Zaid Daoud Al Siksek, Managing Director of TRANSCO.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Engineer Mohamed Salem Bin Omair Al Shamsi, TRANSCO Board Member and Managing Director of Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC), H.E. Engineer Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Al Hemaidi, TRANSCO Board Member and AADC advisor along with a number of TRANSCO managers and employees.
H.E. Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi expressed his pride and joy with this achievement that will be added to TRANSCO’s long series of achievements upon the awarding of the certificate of international accreditation for applying Asset Management standards (ISO 55000) which will place TRANSCO in the ranks of global companies that compete in the field of Asset Management with the highest international standards.
Al Nuaimi congratulated TRANSCO staff for obtaining this certificate, calling upon everyone to sustain this standard to further fulfill and maintain other achievements, and promote the culture of excellence and innovation in order to reach the highest levels to achieve the company’s vision.
“TRANSCO clearly demonstrates a culture of continuous improvement and is continually looking for new and innovative approaches to the way it manages assets”, said Mr. Nicolas Simonin, representative of Jacobs Engineering Group.
Mr. Simonin stated that TRANSCO is one of the first organisations in the water & electricity industry to achieve this prestigious certification in the GCC.
