Utopia, Inc. Presents on Data Migration and Enterprise Asset Management
Sushil Tiwari, project director at Utopia, Inc., will present “Legacy Data Migration to SAP® ECC, a Practitioner’s Methodology” on Wednesday, May 18. For the presentation Mr. Tiwari will outline the benefits of obtaining a single cleansed and unified source of master information, and how SAP® BusinessObjectsTM Data Services software can be used as the platform for delivering the cleansed and transformed data into SAP ECC. Attendees will be introduced to key process steps in a data migration such as data profiling, source to target mapping, cleansing and de-duplication of master data, and other core concepts.
The second presentation “Don’t Let Your Data Lead You Astray” will be presented by Peter Aynsley-Hartwell, vice president of solutions consulting at Utopia, Inc. For the presentation Mr. Aynsley-Hartwell will explain how managing and maintaining assets and equipment can make or break a company’s bottom line. He will address the key elements that affect EAM such as service maintenance, MRO materials procurement, and inventory levels. The presentation will showcase an oil and gas company’s EAM business problem and how the solution was effectively framed around data, business processes, and ERP optimization using the “Top Down, Bottom Up” EDLM approach. This presentation will take place on Monday, May 16.
