Recent changes to the NFPA 70E and CSA Z462 standards for Electrical Safety in the Workplace have added several references to the condition and maintenance of electrical equipment in your facility. Because the standards are the de facto laws for electrical work processes across most of North America, the further emphasis on the maintenance has major, and positive implications for those of us charged with de-risking our manufacturing processes, and ensuring uptime and personnel safety.
