Celebrating success, business and environmental safety, creating a better and safer world, driving reliability are the reasons Reliabilityweb.com as an organization continues its work to bring the science of asset management to as many organizations as possible around the world.

The International Maintenance Conference IMC 2022 is the most important event in the reliability world. It is produced by Reliabilityweb accompanied by eminent figures in asset management from around the world. The world’s best run companies gather in this celebration of asset management, to recognize the best practices, the most efficient and safe companies and to share and enjoy the latest advances in technology applied to industrial maintenance.

The Uptime Awards took place on December 6, where several companies will be recognized for their achievements in the categories Best Reliability Engineering for Maintenance Program, Best Work Execution Management Program, Best Leadership for Reliability Program, Best Asset Management Program and Best Overall Program.

And the winners are...

Being a winner of one of these awards represents a great achievement for any organization; it is an opportunity for external evaluation and comparison, in addition to exposure to the international press, specialized press and projection in social networks.

Saudi Aramco Berri GAS Plant: Best Reliability Engineering for Maintenance Program

Saudi Aramco Berri GAS Plant is a flagship plant. It became operational in 1977, and was the first gas master system facility in the Kingdom. This award is in recognition of a new internally developed scoring-based methodology entitled "Plant Reliability Performance Index (PRPI)", which allows annual benchmarking of the performance and effectiveness of reliability programs. This allows reliability programs to be evaluated, best practices in reliability excellence to be identified and shared, staff competencies to be enhanced, and reliability performance to be transformed from reactive to proactive.

Central Contra Costa Sanitary District: Best Work Execution Management Program

Central Contra Costa has worked hard on optimization and reliability as a means to become an industry-leading organization known for environmental stewardship, innovation and providing exceptional customer service at responsible rates. Central San, located about 30 miles northeast of San Francisco, provides wastewater services to nearly 500,000 residents and more than 3,000 businesses in Central Contra Costa County. It maintains more than 1,500 miles of sewer mains and 18 pump stations to deliver wastewater to the regional treatment plant in Martinez; cleaning more than 13 billion gallons of wastewater annually. The company began its journey toward Work Performance Optimization with the development of a reliability strategy and a strong asset management foundation that led to a culture of continuous improvement, earning them the Uptime Award for Best Reliability Engineering Program for Maintenance in 2018 and Best Asset Management Program in 2020.

United Utilities: Best Leadership for Reliability Program

United Utilities, from the United Kingdom, was selected as an Uptime Award winner in the Best Leadership for Reliability Program category, as a way of recognizing this organization's intense effort to manage its assets from a Reliability culture. It is a water and wastewater company that supplies 1.8 billion liters of water daily, owns and manages more than 56,000 hectares of land, and starts quality control from the water catchment points. They have a significant impact on the environment, helping to protect more than 1,300 km of coastline and some 7,000 km of rivers flowing through the region.
