“We went through a similar process last year for version 7.1 of Maximo and we are pleased that after all the work we put in Lloyd’s decided it met their strict criteria for software for marine services. It now means that we can use their approval mark on all our Maximo materials.”
The software conformity assessment establishes that for Maximo 7.5 satisfactory controls are in place for the design, development, verification testing of its performance, functionality, version control and configuration management to provide confidence in the product.
Steve concluded, “This accreditation demonstrates to the marine services sector that Maximo is the ideal and safe asset management solution to ensure they get the maximum return from their expensive assets. We have implemented it in many onshore and offshore facilities and have seen the benefits it delivers in terms of improved maintenance management and reduced costs. So, would have no hesitation in recommending it to any organisation in marine services.”
