Burlington, ON (PRWEB) January 4, 2011
Ivara Corporation, the industry leader and innovator in asset performance management solutions, today announced the availability of Release 6 of Ivara EXP Enterprise Asset Performance Management (APM) software.
Release 6.0 offers a new visual look and powerful new controls which enhance the product navigation and object oriented user interface principles of the Ivara software technology. For regulatory compliance, innovations in EXP’s Risk Based Inspection technology include Dynamic Inspection Routes.
Release 6 users will benefit from improved dashboard, charting and graphing capabilities, indicator-based visual gauges, better real estate management (explorer controls, splitter windows, nested tab controls, etc.), improved user configuration capabilities (graphical views, sophisticated query management, improved filtering) and many other new visual features.
Customers benefit from the new application server support providing improved scalability, system maintenance and configurability. Browser-based tools allow remote monitoring and control (broadcast messages, shutdown, restart, etc.) from anywhere on any device that supports html. The R6 smart client and application server can reduce or eliminate the need for Citrix or Terminal services hosting. With R6 end user deployment of EXP is easy with a “click once” style deployment mechanism. Implementers, administrators and power users benefit from improved list configuration capabilities, improved forms designer and new native report support. Reports can also be routed to any third party reporting tool.
EXP’s Risk Based Inspections have been expanded to include Dynamic Inspection Routes which automatically adjust condition indicators to be collected and the frequency to be collected for an asset in its current operating context. Regular automated reports and notifications ensure that no inspection task is missed, or performed too often.
“We are very excited about the new release. Ivara EXP 6.0 is a quantum leap forward for our application’s visual appeal, usability and potential to provide further business value”, says Rob Churchman, Vice President, Development, Ivara Corporation. “In fact, some customers are changing their implementation schedules to install R6 sooner than previously planned.”
“Ivara EXP Release 6 demonstrates Ivara’s commitment to providing leading edge enterprise software and methodologies to support our customers’ processes, practices and people in Maintenance and Operations.” says Paul Marshall, Chief Executive Officer, Ivara Corporation. “Our customers trust us to develop and maintain the enterprise asset performance management software which enables them to optimize the performance and reliability of their production equipment.”
