Registrations climb 23% year-over-year Reliabilityweb enters new chapter with Nineteen Group
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — MaximoWorld 2026, part of Reliabilityweb, the premier event for IBM Maximo and MREF (formerly TRIRIGA) users and the reliability, maintenance, and asset management community, concluded a successful four-day run in Nashville, Tennessee, August 17–20. The event drew more than 1,300 registrations, a 23% increase over the prior year.
Following Reliabilityweb’s acquisition by Nineteen Group earlier this year, MaximoWorld 2026 marked the event’s first edition as part of the international events and media group. The same Reliabilityweb team behind MaximoWorld continues to lead the event, now supported by the broader resources, reach and investment of Nineteen Group as the organization looks to build on the event’s long-standing role within the Maximo and asset management community.
The 2026 event featured more than 175 learning opportunities, including breakout sessions, user groups and live demos across Maximo, MREF and the broader asset management and reliability landscape, alongside 45+ sponsors. Diamond sponsors included: Cohesive, IBM, and TRM / Aquitas

A Look at What's Next for Maximo
A notable keynote from Kendra Dekeyrel, VP, Asset Lifecycle Management Product Leader at IBM and Vijay Bajnath Division Chief Information Officer at Portland General Electric introduced IBM Maximo Application Suite 9.2, exploring how asset-first AI is expanding what organizations can do across the asset lifecycle. The session highlighted how the latest version of Maximo helps reliability teams understand changing asset conditions and determine the right next actions, including mobile AI support that assists technicians at the point of work and new capabilities to help teams surface and act on critical safety and environmental information more consistently.
Portland General Electric joined the session to share how it is advancing its asset management strategy with Maximo and building the digital foundation for the next generation of AI-enabled operations. Together, these advances point to a more connected operating model, one where condition insights are linked to decisions, decisions are linked to execution, and execution is supported across the organization.
Stan Smith Program Director, Maximo Product Management Software with IBM and Samantha O'Neill Sr. Product Manager, Maximo Real Estate & Facilities [MREF] with IBM also led a roadmap session on the strategic direction of the Maximo Application Suite, outlining current priorities, planned enhancements, and how product management is aligning future development with customer and industry needs.
Celebrating Excellence Across the Industry
The four-day event featured user group meetings, hands-on breakout sessions, RAP Talks, an Expo Hall with receptions, and a Tech Crawl, alongside the presentation of the annual MaximoWorld Awards, recognizing organizations demonstrating excellence in asset management, reliability, and safety.

Reliabilityweb’s event calendar continues with the International Maintenance Conference in Marco Island, December 7–11, 2027 followed by Smart Manufacturing Week taking place in Detroit, April 19–22, 2027, creating additional opportunities for the reliability, maintenance and asset management community to connect throughout the year. MaximoWorld will return to Nashville August 2–5, 2027.
