Bob brings over 25 years of experience, having held key executive roles with leading software providers and prominent research firms focused on industrial technology and digital transformation.

Bob shares Reliabilityweb.com’s mission to “make the world work for everyone without leaving anyone behind.” Together, we aim to discover and deliver strategies that empower asset managers, reliability leaders, and maintenance professionals to achieve safety, sustainability, and success.

While new to our team, Bob has been an integral part of the Reliabilityweb.com community for nearly 25 years.
His significant contributions to the Reliability Leadership Institute (RLI) and his role as a founding member of The Association for Asset Management Professionals (AMP) highlight his deep commitment to advancing the field. His insights and leadership are invaluable, enhancing our support for the global reliability community and professionals seeking to excel in their careers and drive meaningful change within their organizations.

Strategic Vision and Leadership

Bob Francis’s background is impressive. Before joining Reliabilityweb.com, he served as a Research Analyst and Advisor at LNS Research. His academic credentials include an MBA from LeTourneau University with concentrations in Marketing and Management and executive education in Business Analytics and Big Data from Harvard Business School.

He also holds an undergraduate degree from California Polytechnic State University. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bob is an experienced educator, having lectured at institutions such as Texas A&M’s Mays School of Business, the University of Tennessee’s Reliability and Maintainability Center (RMC), and Virginia Western Community College. He continues to share his expertise as a guest lecturer at Grand Canyon University’s College of Science, Engineering, and Technology.
