This session details Moderna's journey to standardize IBM Maximo reporting across its global life sciences facilities. Speaker Sunil Kamerkar explains the evolution of Maximo reporting tools and highlights the costly inefficiencies of running numerous manual site meetings with fragmented data. To resolve these issues, the project team leveraged the SMRP framework to establish a unified set of metrics categorized by functional areas and specific user roles. The presentation outlines the technical migration process, which involved extracting data into a Redshift data lake and building automated Tableau dashboards to replace outdated reporting methods. Furthermore, the session addresses critical data quality improvements, such as enforcing strict work order lifecycles and ensuring accurate asset-level data entry to drive reliable, proactive maintenance decisions.
