The led challenges for the mooring hawsers strategy in Jizan terminal was based since 1997, high replacement cost at each hawser at $ 23,406 where the plant is annually spending $ 187,248 from OPEX, replacement required SPM shutdown 24 hours which impactful operational cost. The used method is to layout the basic reliability model to replace these mooring hawsers based on condition rather than time in order to design appropriate strategy fits the Jizan marine operation factors including weather, SPM operation and sea condition. In this paper, we will demonstrate the applied methods including residual strength (Destructive Test), benchmarking with pacesetter and continual improvement. Nevertheless, multiple samples were collected and sent for lab test to conduct residual test which revealed that those marine hawsers represent 98% from their retirement lifecycle. The results revealed positive impact that marine mooring hawsers have 98% from lifecycle.
