Stanford Health Care’s operational excellence journey to improving the Work Authorization process to proactively assess, identify and mitigate risks to people, operations and facilities. Work Authorization follows the governmental guideline flow down from regulation, industry standard, organizational policies to procedures, simplifying the multijurisdictional requirements into a single format and automating the paper process in Maximo. The outcomes are increased user usage, and decreased turnaround times, all while upholding licensing and regulatory compliance.
