Founded in 2008, the Advoco Scholarship is awarded each semester to students enrolled in the SFSU College of Extended Learning Project Management Program. This scholarship program further extends Advoco’s long-standing relationship with SF State and strengthens its commitment to the advancement of project management.

Anna Richards, the Fall 2011 recipient of the Advoco Scholarship, has been living in San Francisco the past four years, working at SFL Data as a senior project manager. Prior to this, Richards obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY and participated in a study abroad program in Athens, Greece.

Steve Brindle, partner at Advoco and faculty member at SFSU, said, “Advoco has enjoyed working with the SFSU campus over the past several years. The Project Management courses are of high standard and provide participants with a thorough grounding in the field. We are proud that we are able to support and encourage students through the sponsoring of the Advoco scholarship.”
