Gaussian and eAssetM have strong reputations and client base across North America. Gaussian’s strength is in long-term strategic reliability engineering; eAssetM has strength in strategic asset management with emphasis on risk and change management.

Both organizations were deeply involved in the development of the recently published ISO55001 International Standard for Asset Management. eAssetM’s President, Rhys Davies, Chaired the international ISO/PC251 Committee and Gaussian’s Director, Dean Griffin, led the South African contribution to the work with support coming from Gaussian’s Grahame Fogel in South Africa.

ISO55001 is becoming a strong driver of business improvement work in asset intensive industries across North America and the market is demanding solutions to deliver business value.

On a number of recent assignments together it has become clear that the respective capabilities and toolsets of eAssetM and Gaussian are complementary. Combining them will support the rapidly growing North American market for ISO55001 related services.

The joint venture announced today will commercially operate through eAsset Management Inc. but draw upon world-class expertise and tools from both organizations to fully meet client needs.
