CRL 1-hr: Nov 7 Introduction to Uptime Elements Reliability Framework and Asset Management System

The Asset Performance Group Inc. (APG), www.apgAssetCare.com, is pleased to announce its endorsement by the Institute of Asset Management (IAM) to assess organizations interested in aligning to PAS-55 or achieving PAS-55 certification. This endorsement recognizes APG’s extensive experience in asset reliability and equipment performance management. “This new capability further enhances our ongoing commitment to our customers to provide processes and practices that will assist them in reaching the highest levels of excellence in asset management,” noted James Nesbitt, Senior Partner at APG. “With more and more scrutiny being placed on companies to manage their assets in a safe and environmentally responsible way, the need for standards and policies around asset integrity and performance are more important than ever before. Delivering these types of assessments will provide our clients a means to accurately identify significant gaps in their organization and ensure technical alignment to sustainable asset management.”

The PAS-55 assessment is applicable to asset intensive organizations that are just starting to develop an asset management strategy as well organizations that are at a medium to high maturity level and are committed to the full implementation and certification of PAS-55. APG is among the first companies to be recognized by the Institute of Asset Management.

PAS-55, www.theiam.org, is the British Standards Institution’s (BSI) first Publicly Available Specification (PAS) for the optimized management of physical assets. PAS-55 is the recognized international specification that provides the framework for achieving sustainable, full life cycle asset management. The management of physical assets (their acquisition, operation, maintenance and disposal) plays a key role in determining the operational performance and profitability of industries that operate assets as part of their core business. Aligning to the framework of PAS-55 will enable your organization to obtain bottom line results in optimised performance, process compliance and responsible asset care. The assessment process will allow you to measure your current organizational readiness and build a strategy for world class asset management.
