Prior to joining BETA, Guy was the dean of the Schulich School of Engineering at University of Calgary and prior to that,dean of the science and engineering faculty at Laval University. In addition to these leadership roles, Guy has decades of technical experience in Structural Mechanics, FEA, and dynamics through his private sector consulting roles and as Professor at Laval University in Quebec City, Quebec.  At Laval, He was an active member of the FE Modeling Research Centre and supervised sophisticated FEA programs, including programs with NASA.Guy earned his PhD in Engineering Mechanics at Virginia Tech.
