FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 20, 2017

Bluvision, a part of HID Global, announced their advanced, device agnostic, Condition Monitoring solution at Hannover Messe, 2017 – the World's largest manufacturing industrial technology trade fair. The new solution uses machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) to predict motor and equipment failure. The solution tracks an asset's multiple states of motion and develops a performance profile, using Bluvision's end-to-end platform – sensor beacons, BLE to WiFi (BluFi) gateways and Bluvision's cloud solution, Bluzone. Depending on an asset's health, user-defined real-time alerts can be set up to communicate not only the asset's current status but also if that asset's health is degrading and is predicted to need attention.

With Condition Monitoring fast becoming a requirement for Industry 4.0, Bluvision's solution allows factory and maintenance operations to lower their operation costs by focusing on Predictive Maintenance while reducing down-time to a minimum. Bluvision's Condition Monitoring solution requires minimal infrastructure and no servers or wired infrastructure, just sensor beacons and BluFis. The beacons are device agnostic and can attach to any asset including motors, conveyors, rollers, bearings, gear boxes and pumps. The intelligence is in Bluzone Cloud that manages the sensor beacons and the gateways, tracks telemetry info on the assets and provides the machine learning / A.I. logic.

"Using A.I., allows a user to track low-cost assets including bearings or rollers and truly understand when the specific asset will fail," said Jimmy Buchheim, CEO, Bluvision. "This is also the first time that a factory with thousands of motors and other assets with motion can be tracked concurrently, addressing the issue of scalability."

To learn about the A.I. enabled Condition Monitoring solution or to see the demo, visit Bluvision's booth at Hannover Messe – Hall 8, Booth # A29/1 and at Hall 9, Siemens, MindSphere Lounge.
