CRL 1-hr: 9/26 Introduction to Uptime Elements Reliability Framework and Asset Management System

With the mission of delivering affordable and measureable sustainability solutions, AED and CTRL Systems have successfully provided the food/beverage industry with an effective way to reduce the electrical consumption of air compressors.

“The partnership for implementation of the on-going air leak detection program by AED and CTRL proved a success,” states Ben Fried, Vice President, CTRL Systems. The pilot site reduced the compressor electricity usage by 19%. The cost/unit (case) was 18%, with an ROI of just 17 months. The turn-key program included 24/7 power measurement, CTRL’s UL101 ultrasound detector, training, leak detection, repairs, and complete reporting and analysis of the compressed air system. The implementation of an on-going program along with CTRL’s UL101 technology will be expanded to motor performance applications.

“CTRL’s ultrasound technologies tie in with our mission for measurable and ‘best in class’ solutions. Our manufacturing clients can now experience energy savings unachievable with other tools currently in the market,” said Samantha Gumenick of Advanced Energy Dynamic. “Along with energy savings, the opportunity to utilize these tools for predictive maintenance will allow our clients to experience a higher level of equipment performance not available until now.”
