U.S-based Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Diversified Machine Systems (DMS) will exhibit a DMS Enclosed 5 Axis Overhead Gantry CNC Router at the 2014 SPE Thermoforming Conference in Schaumburg, Illinois.
In booth #608, Diversified Machine Systems will be featuring the revolutionary CNC machine that was initially designed specifically for composites manufacturing, to address the particular concerns of this industry. The DMS Enclosed 5 Axis Overhead Gantry CNC Router featuring a Fagor 8055i CNC Control, solid 2’ x 3’ Twin Tables, and 30"of Z Stroke is the first machine of its size to offer a glass, clam shell-style roof.
DMS has manufactured similar CNC machines that have been well received within the international aerospace community for composites machining and fabrication. With its smaller footprint and newer technology, this router is an important addition to the composites and thermoforming community. DMS will also be exhibiting this CNC machine at CAMX Composites in booth 4345 in October.
As safety standards rise and floor space concerns continue to challenge manufacturers, this DMS router is equipped to meet the rigorous demands of the thermoforming industry as well, with an airborne debris containment system, a dual table workspace and an efficient footprint.
