San Ramon, Calif. - The ZigBee® Alliance, a global ecosystem of companies creating wireless solutions for use in energy management, commercial and consumer applications, today announced Emerson is now a Promoter level member and the newest member of the ZigBee Alliance Board of Directors.

Emerson is a diversified global manufacturing and technology company offering a wide range of innovative products and services that help deliver productivity and energy efficiency to industrial, commercial and consumer markets worldwide. Several Emerson business platforms are expected to become active in the Alliance, starting with Emerson Climate Technologies, a leading provider of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration solutions for residential, industrial and commercial applications, and its White-Rodgers division, which specializes in climate-control technologies.
