eSSETS, an innovator among cloud based asset management software providers, announced today the most recent update to its suite of EAM and CMMS solutions, allowing users to more efficiently leverage the power of the Internet to meet their facilities’ goals. Release 6.3 includes SmartQ, which is now out of beta testing and ready to deliver maximum functions in minimum time.
We’ve continued to improve our beta version of SmartQ and it is now ready for primetime. Changes from our beta version (released in July, 2014) encompass a more sophisticated interface and additional enhanced features. According to Paul Roberts, CEO, “system administrators can now pre-set up or define required ‘requester” profiles. These individuals making a requests simply log-in, and can immediately accesses all necessary information—-a “smart” form—-showing who and where they are, and the status of prior requests. They can even re-open jobs if needed. SmartQ enables manager and dispatcher efficiency with specific and accurate incoming requests.”
SmartQ provides a personalized snapshot of company-issued assets. When staff members log into the system, they are presented with a personalized list of their uniquely assigned assets. Asset managers can easily access specific information on their areas such as equipment age, history, specifications, and links to supporting documents such as manuals and technical sheets. Time spent thrashing for information is reduced and the ability to respond quickly is increased.
As a follow-on to eSSETS’ successful WebQ, the SmartQ release in version 6.3 with its refinements and fixes will continue to provide the facility and asset managers in numerous industries with a cutting-edge, cloud-based asset and maintenance management tool to save time and money.
