CRL 1-hr: 9/26 Introduction to Uptime Elements Reliability Framework and Asset Management System

Global PTM utilized a train-the-trainer approach which expedited the learning process for over 500 system users. As a result, the system tracks and manages major assets across the entire school district including work orders, preventive maintenance, costs, and repairs. This includes all major assets associated with buildings, HVAC systems, food services, and related equipment. With Oracle eAM in place, Chicago Public Schools is able to assign materials and labor costs for each asset while tracking warranty and repair information.

“As the second largest employer in Chicago, we have a responsibility to maximize each asset within our expansive district while minimizing costs,” says Prasad Nettem, Director, Enterprise Financial Systems Information & Technology Services, Chicago Public Schools. “This implementation was a massive undertaking which required a disciplined approach and the knowledge of Global PTM’s team to show us how to use Oracle eAM to proactively care for every asset across all 675 schools within the district. The expertise provided by Global PTM was instrumental in making this project successful.”
