GP:50 Corporation LTD (GP:50), an AS9100C and ISO9001 certified manufacturer of reliable pressure sensing instrumentation, has announced the introduction of its Model 170/270/370/570 WECO® “Hammer” Union Series.
This family of highly rugged pressure transmitters is designed and engineered to effectively address the demanding shock and vibration and installation challenges of the oilfield, as well as other harsh industrial environments. They further offer seamless mechanical compatibility with WECO® 2” 1502, 2002, 2202, and 602 wing union fittings.
Series pressure transmitters are available in standard ranges from 0 to 1000 thru 0 to 20K PSI (69 thru 1,379 BAR), with standard accuracies of < ±0.25% FSO and an optional improved accuracy specification of < ±0.10% FSO. Their stainless steel housings and corrosion-resistant, high-strength fasteners provide years of reliable operation in tough environments. These pressure transmitters also incorporate a specialty case design that reduces the bothersome zero offset changes that can occur during installation. A unique “Connector Guard” recesses the connector and eliminates breakage risks.
The GP:50 Model 170/270/370/570 Series is available with four unique signal outputs: 3 mV/V for Model 170; 0 to 5 Vdc for Model 270; 4-20 mA for Model 370; and CANbus SAE J1939 for Model 570. These allow for pressure transducer compatibility with most control systems. An optional temperature output is also available, as well as an extended high-temperature rating to +350°F (+177°C). In addition, customers may choose from among multiple electrical connections and area approval options, including FM, CSA, ATEX/IEC Class 1 Div 1/Zone 0, and Class 1 Div 2/Zone 2 Intrinsic Safety.
