With a choice of four sighting methods, the PSCSR56N’s deliver high resolution fixed focus optics with small spot sizes, digital RS485 communication interface, analog 4 to 20mA output and fast speed of response. Optical and electronics parts are enclosed in rugged cylindrical stainless steel housings.
Sales Manager, Scott Nagle stated, “The nature of these highly compact and versatile IR sensors makes them ideal for use by machine manufacturers, in induction heating, welding, brazing, semiconductor and vacuum applications. They deliver high performance in the most demanding environments, and with an outstanding price/performance ratio, this series of twocolor sensors is packed with features that make them the perfect choice for custom application requirements.”
With five temperature ranges spanning from 500 to 3000°C, the new models offer a choice of throughlens sighting, an integrated red laser, video camera sighting or an electronic viewfinder. The unique electronic viewfinder feature allows the user to view into the sensor’s eyepiece and observe a colorized video image of the process under measurement. As with all PSC twocolor models, the PSCSR56N Series can also be used as single wavelength pyrometers. The free of charge PSCSpot software with optional USB cable for connection to RS485 output allows simple set up of IR thermometer parameters, facilitates multitasking and makes the recording of data in graphical, text or tabular format simple.
The PSCSR56 Series pyrometers are ideal for applications in induction heating, kilns, composites and sintering, steel and metals processing, vacuum furnaces and welding, as well as demanding research and development environments. The durable and compact companion stainless steel cooling jacket with integrated air purge stands up to even the harshest environments, and a number of innovative, ruggedly designed accessories are available.
Process Sensors Corporation offers a wide range of simple to sophisticated, noncontact infrared temperature sensors, thermal imaging / thermal line scanning systems, and blackbody calibration sources to meet the most demanding online industrial process applications as well as sensitive OEM performance requirements.
